Completed 2008
In a multi-phase project, the Golden Gate University Law Library expanded to the first floor, increasing the library's capacity by 35,000 SF. The much needed expansion increased stack capacity by utilizing both the additional first floor space as well as installing a high density shelving system in the lower level. The first floor area was renovated to include a new reading room, new main entrance, reference desk, and staff offices. The resulting project provided greater visibility on Mission Street, improving the institution's profile on campus and in the local community.
